Grants and Funding

Is your club missing out on some extra dollars?

Every year a number of organizations including Tennis Queensland, Casinos and State Government provide opportunities for sport and recreational bodies to gain funding for programs and projects. Many clubs across our region have already taken advantage of a number of these grants.
Below is some information about some of the available grants.

Option 1 Tennis Queensland and Heritage Community Development Grants

An exciting opportunity exists for all Tennis Queensland Affiliated Bodies to access financial assistance to attract new players and improve services for current members thanks to the Heritage Building Society. The program encourages good planning, the development of structured and diverse programs as well as the establishment of attractive facilities.

With facility development, participation and new player registrations a major focus for Tennis Queensland, these new grants will allow Affiliated Bodies to apply for: Landscaping or painting of clubhouses, construction of shade structures, construction of hitting walls, construction of seating, purchase of fax/photocopiers, purchase of computers/software/websites.

The program will also fund program initiatives which: Facilitate better school/club links, increase tennis participation within the club, improve club services, focus on the long-term development of the club, educate and train club officials and coaches, attract sponsors eg. corporate functions.

The application process is simple to complete, with grants issued for amounts between $500 and $2,000.
