Mooloolaba JMC
There were 120 entrants in the Mooloolaba Junior Masters on the 5th and 6th of June. Entries have increased in 2010 and for the last two JMCs two venues have been used.
The host venue, Mooloolaba Tennis Club provided fantastic facilites and catering for the event. The kitchen provided a great range of items including some delicious cakes and slices. Thank you Mooloolaba Tennis Club.
The Referee, Philipa Collins was pleased with the overall sportsmanship for the event and chose Callan Barnes as the winner of the $50 Bendigo Bank Account. Congratulations Callan!!
Congratulations to Jack Rogers who won the 'Newcomer Prize' for this event.
The next JMC is at Nambour on the 10th and 11th of July.
Gympie JMC
Eighty players entered the Gympie JMC on the May long weekend. The weather was great and the tournament ran smoothly.
The winner of the 'Newcomer to JMCs 2010' was Travis Dalheimer. Travis competed in the 15 and Under Boys Event.
There were eight winners of the 'Good Sports Random Prize'. These players were Dylan Wallace, Andre Swart,
Monique Manning, Eddie Simpson, Sebastion Richmond, Travis Dalheimer and Jordi Millard.
The next JMC will be at Mooloolaba Tennis Club on the 5th and 6th of June. Mooloolaba is most years a large event, so get your entries in early.
