Nominations to Represent the Sunshine Coast Region at the 2010 Queensland Junior Teams Carnival.

Each year, Tennis Queensland holds the Queensland Junior Teams Carnival in Brisbane during the Summer School Vacation period in December (11th to 15th December inclusive). The Carnival brings together junior tennis players from all over Queensland in a team competition format. The Sunshine Coast Regional Tennis Assembly usually sends two teams in each of the divisions each year, dependent on the number of entrants. The final number of teams can be altered at the discretion of the Regional Assembly. In a trial change from previous years, the Regional Assembly is now calling for nominations from all Junior Players who would like to represent the region at the Carnival to be held in Brisbane during the first week of the Summer school vacation period in 2010. Please read the enclosed selection policy and procedure document and if you would like to represent the Region at the Queensland Junior Teams Carnival, please complete the nomination form and return it to me no later than Friday 17th September 2010. PLEASE NOTE: A nomination does NOT automatically guarantee you a position in a team. Nominations close on Friday 17th September 2010. Upon receiving all nominations, the Regional Assembly Junior Committee will select as many teams in each division as practical. Following initial player selections, those who have been successful in securing a place in a team will be notified and must complete a formal nomination form.
